My first attempt at astrophotography with the “Casper the Friendly Ghost Nebula” turned out mediocre. Lots of noise in this image, and I’m missing the fine detail that I was hoping to get out of the companion nebula NGC 2071.
The target is beautiful regardless of the quality of the image. With dust obscuring the light reflecting from it’s core of super hot & bright stars.
