I had three different camera setups this night, with my 50D focused on Star Trails. My Canon T6 (which took this shot) was set to just take 20 second exposures all night in the hope of catching anything meteors from the Lyrid Meteor Shower.
Stacking all photos between 10:30pm and 5:00pm (approximately 800 individual frames) gives a very colourful star-filled image over the trees to the west of the cottage. Although I hadn’t planned on using these photos for star trails, I’m happier with this version over my other setup this evening.
