

Solar astrophotography hasn’t been a common thing for me… in fact the last time I took out my Kendrick solar filter was the LAST solar eclipse in 2017.
But some duct tape and a 4:30am wakeup call later, I was out in a neighbour’s field waiting for the sun to rise with my @williamoptics RedCat51 and an older Canon T6 to go widefield. Ottawa’s view of SolarEclipse2021 wasn’t total, but this year’s partial eclipse was almost perfect!
